I got into rescue in the late 90s when I started volunteering for a local
rescue. Over the years I’ve volunteered for several animal welfare groups,
worked at two nonprofit, low-cost spay/neuter clinics, and worked at a county
funded, open admission humane society where we had to euthanize weekly because of lack of space.
I currently volunteer for a national animal welfare group, several local animal welfare groups, and I’m the president
of Atlanta Bully Rescue. Over the years
I’ve been blessed with amazing mentors and associates. |
